FREEMAQ PCSM
The FREEMAQ PCSM requires 10 Contact Points in “Moderate Seismic Activity Areas” which is most of Texas.
We alerted the Client to this requirement, as the other vendors had only bid 6 to 8 Contact Points, so we were able to properly bid the job without having to ask for a change order, saving time, money, and client aggravation.
The work we did ahead of time with the EOR, our Engineer, and the field crew insured that when we were long gone, and the batteries and PCS’s showed up, that all the hard work we did paid off for the installation crews behind us.

We then designed and fabricated a custom jig with pre-drilled bolt holes that we used to install the PCS cap plates.

This way, the pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly with the PCS Units, so upon delivery their team was able to install them seamlessly.
We first would bolt the plate caps to the jig, lower the jig onto the 10 PCS Piles, then survey would align the caps and bolt holes up perfectly before we would weld them in place, leaving no room for error.
Once the jig was built, checked, and double checked by survey, each of the 840 PCS plate caps were then installed exactly the same.
